The 120 seat restaurant, which is highly recommended in Taste of Scotland Good Food Guide, offers a variety of mouth watering dishes which are all prepared on the premises. Every effort is made to provide a genuine Taste of Scotland but especially a taste of Sutherland - the immediate surrounding area. Food is available all day and large parties are particularly welcome. Wonderful, rich, home-made soups with the best local ingredients and a range of mouth watering main courses including salmon, local game, fish pies and salads. Sunday lunches are a speciality with local lamb and beef often on the menu with a substantial variety of fish and vegetarian alternatives. Salmon dishes are always on offer throughout the season. The restaurant is licensed and you can choose from a selection of beer, wines and spirits.

The restaurant is renowned for its puddings and people travel from far and wide distances just to look at them!

Coffees and hot chocolate are another speciality with a wonderful and varied selection - so not surprisingly, we are a popular destination for the Italians. Locally made Capaldi's of Brora ice cream is another delight always on offer. European language menus are available on request.
